I've recently seen Eats drivers have other stops before dropping off my order. This causes delays, routes to take longer, and food to arrive cold. As a Gold member who has spent $500/mo in recent months, this is a huge turnoff. With Uber Pool, you are getting a discount and agreeing to this. There should be a similar option to have lower fees if you're willing to have to wait longer for your food to sit in someone's car.
